Our Under 13 and Under 14 Boys Squads are in Coffs Harbour for the 2016 National Youth Championships. 

The tournament, running this week in New South Wales features the best young footballing talent from around Australia.

DAY ONE

South Australia has one team in each of the age groups and their first matches were yesterday, Monday October 3rd, and continue throughout the week until Friday.

The Under 13's were victorious NSW Metro in their opening game whilst our Under 14's were defeated narrowly by the same opposition.

Next up, both sides are in action against Capital Football today.

DAY TWO 

Both of our squads have now recorded a win piece after two clashes against Capital Football on Tuesday. 

Our Under 14 Squad were victorious by a 5-1 scoreline whilst our Under 13's were defeated by the narrowest of margins, 2-1.

Each of our side's are up against NSW Metro Blue on Wednesday - Under 13's at 10:40am and Under 14's at 3:10pm.

DAY THREE

A tough day for our Representatives Squads on the NSW Coast, our Under 13's were defeated 5-0 by a strong NSW Metro Blue outfit, whilst our Under 14's drew 3-3 in a goal fest against the same opposition.

Both sides face Victoria Metro on Day Four, Under 14's at 8am and Under 13's kicking off at midday.

DAY FOUR

Both of our sides played a double-header on Day Four, against Victoria Metro and Football West.

Under 13's were victorious in their early game against Vic Mero 3-0, before narrowly losing the final game of the day against WA's representatives 1-0.

Under 14's were defeated 3-2 in their early game against Vic Metro, all the game's five goals came in a manic 36 minute period. They fell to Football West 4-0 in the afternoon.

Both sides complete their week-long tournament with matches against Queensland Metro.
