Free Football Clinics at Secombe Street Reserve
Football Federation South Australia is offering free Football Clinics for children aged between 5 and 16 years from the middle of October at Secombe Street Reserve in Elizabeth Grove.
The clinics - run in conjunction with the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation and the City of Playford, provide a great opportunity for youths to be introduced to a new sport or further hone their football skills.
Secombe Street Reserve is a fantastic new multi-purpose recreation facility which was opened back in June this year and now features two courts for tennis, basketball and netball, a running track, a tennis hitting wall and a grassed oval for football and soccer as well as a playground and picnic and barbecue areas.
FFSA Game Development Manager John Mundy said: “This is a great initiative by Roger and the Playford City Council, we are happy to join forces with them to provide ‘Football for all’ enabling participants to experience the beauty of the World Game without any financial barriers."
The FFSA Clinics will run every Thursday from October 20th to December 15th between 3:30pm – 4:30pm, both boys and girls are encouraged to attend and all skill levels are welcome.
