Roger Rasheed announced as 2016 Coaching Conference Keynote Speaker
Roger Rasheed will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2016 FFSA Coaching Conference.
The Conference, taking place at Burton Park Football Centre on Saturday November 26 and Elite Systems Football Centre on Sunday November 27, provides an opportunity for Coaches to keep their accreditation current and extend the validation period.
As highlighted in the downloadable program below, FFA Advanced & Community Coach Education Managers, Michael Cooper and Les Bee will be present at the Conference, a long with a GPS Tracking presentation from Tony Roach.
Roger has enjoyed an esteemed career in professional sport as a player and then as a Coach of Lleyton Hewitt, Gael Monfils, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga & Grigor Dimitrov as well as Australia’s 2006 Davis Cup team. Roger now heads up his own not-for-profit organisation, the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation which works within disadvantaged communities to provide a better life for children through exposure to sport.
The Coaching Conference is suitable for both Community and Advanced coachs of all levels of experience and accreditation.
The 2016 agenda will incorporate theory and practical sessions with a focus exclusively on 'Player Centred Learning'.
Attendance at this one and half day Conference will count for 50 points towards coaching re-accreditation for coaches who hold Advanced Coaching Licenses.
