Thebarton Senior College Women's Football Program
The Thebarton Senior College Women’s Football Program continues in Term Four, with 20 young women from new arrival backgrounds attending the weekly program.
Run by FFSA coaches and Thebarton Senior College Youth Worker Evan Babister, the program gives the young women an opportunity to build up their football skills and enjoy being active in a relaxed and supportive environment.
“With participants from nine different nationalities, this program showcases football’s ability to bring people together in harmony, regardless of their differences," says FFSA Multicultural Development Officer, Victor Claye.
"They are a fantastic group to work with, eager to learn and always thankful for the opportunity they have to enjoy playing the game they love”.
