Former FFSA President appointed to AFC Entry Control Body

Football Federation SA would like to congratulate its former President, Hon. Judge Rauf Soulio, on being appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Entry Control Body.

Judge Soulio, President of FFSA from 2009 to 2016, will be the first Deputy Chairperson of the newly-established Body founded by the AFC in November 2016.

The purpose of the Body is to provide ‘an independent judicial body to make decisions regarding the eligibility of clubs to participate in AFC competitions.

The formation of the Body supports key pillars of the AFC Mission such as ‘successful Asian teams’, ‘good governance’ and ‘integrity’ which underline the vision of the AFC to become the ‘World’s leading Confederation’.
