Northern Demons Junior Trials
The Northern Demons Junior Committee will be running trials for the following ages groups on Sunday 12th October at Byrne Park ;
10:30 Under 12 ( aged 11 or under on 1/1/2015)
11:30 Under 14 (aged 13 or under on 1/1/2015)
12:30 Under 15 (aged 14 or under on 1/1/2015)
The Northern Demons Soccer Club is based at Port Pirie. Home games are played at Byrne Park , Magor Road, Port Pirie. Alternate away games are played at various venues in the Adelaide Metropolitan area. Junior sides participate in the JPL .
The Northern Demons aim to give junior players from the northern regions of South Australia the opportunity to participate at the highest levels available in the State. We presently have players from Port Pirie, Crystal Brook, Georgetown, Jamestown and Whyalla.
The junior set up instils the FFA (Football Federation Australia) National Curriculum directives to training and games. All coaches are committed to developing youth squads, promoting individual skill, inter-play and positional teamwork.
Registration costs for the 2015 are yet to be set however are envisaged to be between $100 - $150 , in line with other Country sporting codes and allowing accessibility to all . The Club are working towards free travel being available to away games in ADELAIDE for the 2015 season. Season commences March 2015 through to September 2015.
(Please note the under 12 side will be a development side hopefully playing 5 trial games throughout the season)
