The technical and respect points have been added to the seven Victorian Champions League tables, giving us our league winners for the 2012 season.

Up to 20 technical and 20 respect points were awarded to each team, making for plenty of movement on the league tables.

The major beneficiaries of the technical and respect points were the North East Diamonds Under 17 Boys team. After finishing fourth on competition points, a tremendous technical and respect points haul has seen them leap into first place for a well earned Championship.

The aim of the VCL is to help players reach their full potential rather than encouraging them to win at all costs, so it is fitting to see teams rewarded for their season-long efforts to adhere to the FFA National Curriculum by climbing the table, with several teams in every league improving their final standing.
