NOTICE: 2015 Grand Final host to be announced on Sept 1
FFV can announce that the hosting club for this year’s GRFC Finals’ series will be publicly announced on the morning of Tuesday 1st of September.
FFV has already received a number of bids from various clubs to host this year’s event, but those clubs that haven’t as yet formally submitted their bid will still have time to do so.
All clubs wishing to host this year’s finals will need to fill out a venue hosting form at the following link: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/52238827798977
In order to be considered for this year’s event, the venue hosting form will need to submitted by the close of business on Monday 31st of August.
On the morning of Tuesday 1st of September, the FFV will publicly announce the hosting venue via its website at: www.ffvgeelong.com.au.
Venues will be selected based on their ability to accommodate specific finals formats and hosting clubs will be responsible for all pitch preparation (including line marking, corner flags and goal nets) and will also provide all match balls, stretchers and basic first aid. Host clubs must also run an adequate canteen service on the day.
The semi-finals for the Girls’ and Womens’ competitions will be staged on Saturday 12th September, with the Boys’ and Mens’ semi-finals held the following day.
Grand Final Day for the Girls’ and Women’s competitions will be Saturday 19th September, while Grand Final Day for the Boys and Men’s divisions will be on Sunday 20th September.
