NEWS: Rangers to organise meeting on Sunday for proposed Women’s senior team

AFTER a long hiatus, the Geelong Rangers Soccer Club is doing all it can to field a Senior team in the expanded GRFC Women’s Division Two competition for the upcoming season.

“We are trying really hard to organise a Women's team,” explained the Bell Post Hill club’s president, Kylie Chapman.

“We are inviting any females who would like to play this year for the Dark Blues, to attend a meeting at the Geelong Rangers’ clubrooms on Sunday at 3:30pm.

“We would like the word to get around and are looking forward to seeing as many women there on Sunday afternoon,” concluded the Rangers’ president.

The Rangers were the first Geelong club to field a Senior Women’s team. For more information about playing for Rangers or Sunday’s meeting, contact president Kylie Chapman on 0432 208 478 or via email at kmchapman2008@hotmail.com
