NEWS: GRFC Men’s Division One – Round 2 Preview

THE pick of the action in this weekend’s GRFC Men’s Division One Round 2 will be the 3rd versus 4th clash between Barwon Heads and Deakin Ducks Black at Barwon Heads Village Park on Sunday at 3pm. Barwon Heads currently sits 3rd on the ladder, while Deakin trails the Hammerheads only by goal difference.

One of the other games to watch out for this weekend will also be contested on Sunday afternoon down at Grovedale Reserve, when the home side Barwon Red takes on Surf Coast FC at 3pm. Last week, Barwon emphatically defeated Bell Park 9-2 to put the Reds on top of the ladder, while Surf Coast defeated last year’s Division One champions Geelong Rangers 3-2.

Deakin Ducks Green v Surfside Waves SC

Drysdale SC v Geelong SC
All games will kick off at 3pm besides the Deakin Gold v Elcho Park clash, which will be held on Friday night at 8.30pm at Deakin University’s Top Fields and the Barwon Blue v Bell Park game, which will kick off at the earlier time of 1pm at Grovedale Reserve.
