BVDL WEEK 3 GAME PREVIEWS

BVDL MEN

DANDENONG vs SANDRINGHAM
Saturday 31st March – 7:30pm

The height and strength of Dieuson Biyendolo in the paint for the Rangers is causing opposition teams many headaches.  In his two games so far this season he is averaging 16.5pts and 11.5rebs.  The Sabres will need a solid game from Tim Clark if they are to contain Biyendolo and defeat the Rangers.

KILSYTH vs FRANKSTON
Saturday 31st March – 8:15pm

Kilsyth moved into the number one position after another high scoring game last week.  Kilsyth easily disposed of the Spectres and look to be the team to beat this year.  The Cobras are currently averaging 67pts a game this year, which will be a major concern for the Blues who have struggled offensively in both games so far this season.

BALLARAT vs NUNAWADING
Sunday 1st April – 1:45pm

After a disappointing loss to Kilsyth last week the Spectres will be keen for an improved effort this week against the young Miners squad.  Spectres Costa Hronopoulos leads the league in scoring with 23.5pts and is a player the Miners will need to contain on defence if they are to secure their first win of the season.

BENDIGO vs KNOX
Sunday 1st April – 2:00pm

With both Taylor Dyson (Knox) and Matt Bartlett (Bendigo) available to play this game, look out for a high scoring effort from both teams.  Both youngsters have exceptional shooting skills and provide their respective teams with a huge amount of offensive power.  However the team with the better supporting cast will likely win the game.

BVDL WOMEN

DANDENONG vs SANDRINGHAM
Saturday 31st March – 5:30pm

The Sabres lack height and will struggle against the Rangers this week.  Dandenong are led by 193cm centre Jacinta Vandenberg who currently averages 12pts and 15rebs.  Her height in the paint is going to cause a lot of trouble for the smaller sabres line-up.

KILSYTH vs FRANKSTON
Saturday 31st March – 6:15pm

Kilsyth had three players score in double digits last week but they were still unable to get the win against the Spectres.  The Cobras need a bigger impact from Brittany Renton at the offensive end if they are to be successful this week against the undefeated Lady Blues.  Carly Chatfield is having a great season and currently leds the league in points with a 23.5ave.

BALLARAT vs NUNAWADING
Sunday 1st April – 12:00pm

The Ballarat Rush has a number of young inexperienced players this season and may struggle against the older and wiser Spectres team this week.  Spectres coach Brett Spicer has a wealth of experience amongst his team and can call on any to lift to enable the team to get the win.

BENDIGO vs KNOX
Sunday 1st April – 12:00pm

The next crop of stars in the Raiders line-up has stepped up remarkably to cover the loss of Donald and Schill who have moved into the SEABL Championship line-up.  Rourke, Whelan and Tarabolsi are producing quality numbers in each week, enabling the Raiders to keep their impressive win record in the competition continuing.
