Women in Football

The Victorian Christian Football Association (VCFA) is seeking to expand its soccer competition by having a young women’s competition in the 2016 VCFA competition.

Youth participation in VCFA football at Junior levels increased nearly 20% in 2015 over the previous year and prospects for similar increases this year are promising.

The season will be fun and no previous experience is necessary. Early April will see us start with training and development sessions from 10:00am to 11.30am on Saturday mornings at Milpera Reserve Wantirna. After 6 weeks or so, the young women will be formed into small sided teams to play matches.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
