In 2016 the Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association will move towards aligning its seasons with the VJBL Representative Squad Season and other Basketball Victoria Associations. The seasons are:

Winter Season 2016 – Term 1, 2 & 3

Summer Season 2016/2017 – Term 4 & Term 1

What does this mean for our Association?

• Registration period is the beginning of Term 1 2016 to the end of Term 1 2017 (Jan 2016 – Mar 2017).  The amount for registration will be pro rata and will be advised towards the end of January.
• Our usual two seasons will be played over 5 terms rather than 4.
• Our winter finals series will be at the end of Term 3 and our summer finals series will be at the end of Term 1 2017.

Why are we aligning our seasons?

• To align with the VJBL Rep Squad season.
• To align with many other Victorian Basketball Associations, including neighbouring associations, easing the transfer between associations.
• To align with other junior sports such as football, cricket, athletics and soccer.
• To ease the administrative load on Clubs and the BMBA returning from the January break.

Online Registrations Are Here!

In line with Basketball Victoria Country policy, all associations are now required to commence Online Registrations.  In addition to this, the Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association will offer Online Payments too.

All players, Senior and Junior, are required to register online.  More details will be available later in January.

Registration period will be from 23/01/2016 – 30/01/2016.

Your registration will expire March 2017, regardless of the date you register.

Uniform, training and game fee payments will continue to be collected by individual clubs.
