Basketball time at Saxby’s Stadium in Taree from 9.00am Sunday, 10 May 2015. Yes that’s right basketball on Mother’s Day ! ! ! Is there a better reason for Mums and Dads to spring out of bed to get the children to the fun and games at Saxby's Stadium.
Game times are the same last last week with children in kindergarten and years 1 and 2 first up at 9.00am, then at 9.50pm children in school years 3 and 4 followed at 10.40am by children in school years 5 and 6. High school students in years 7 and 8 wrap up proceedings when they take the court at 11.30am. Nominations from teams of school mates and individual nominations are still being accepted.
Basketball, everyone’s game, is played at Saxby’s Stadium and further information about the junior, women’s and men’s competitions may be obtained by calling 6551 7456, jumping on the website at www.taree.basketball.net.au or on www.facebook.com/taree.tornadoes
