A-League come to North Queensland
A-League pre-season mini tournament known as the Wingate Properties Townsville Football Cup! has arrived.
Thanks to the support of Wingate Properties and the City of Townsville, champions Brisbane Roar together with Sydney FC and Newcastle Jets will take part in the Townsville Football Cup from 24-30 August at Sports Reserve.
There are 3 match-days:
- Sunday 24th August
- Wednesday 27th August, and
- Saturday 30th August
Northern Fury will also play two curtain-raiser matches (against Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar), which is a great opportunity for our boys. A third curtain-raiser will also take place between Newcastle Jets and another team to be advised.
It's not very often that anyone gets a chance to see three A-League teams in action in the one city over six days - but Townsville and Northern Fury have pulled it off!
But what we need to make this a real success for Northern Fury and for Townsville is YOU!
