London Summer League Rules

All London Summer League games shall be played in accordance with the FIBA rules of play the exceptions being:

 

 

  • London Summer League games will last for 20 minutes in total without a scheduled break. 
    Will be a running clock for the first 10 minutes of the game - for final 10 minutes will revert to FIBA rules and the game clock shall be only be stopped after every field goal in the final two minutes of the game (and in overtime if required). 


  • Each team can call up to two 2-minute time-outs during a game.
    As per FIBA rules if the time-out is called during the last two minutes of the game the throw-in spot is advanced to the marked line in the front court.

 

  • Players foul out of a game after 3 personal fouls, or 2 technical or unsportsmanlike/flagrant fouls.

 

  • Teams can commit 8 team fouls before being in the penalty.

London Summer League is registered with England Basketball and so subject to their disciplinary procedures.
