London Lituanica & Westminster Warriors will tip-off the first ever London Summer League game at SportsDock at 7.30pm on Tuesday night.

Warriors are one of the most respected clubs in London - who since their formation in 1987 are the only club in the UK to have developed five Senior Mens England Internationals all from within a three mile radius of their home court (Moberly Sports Centre).

Lituanica are the leading club from London's basketball mad Lithuanian community that now has its own London league boasting nearly twenty teams. Lituanica have now risen to EBL3, losing in the play-off finals this year to Plymouth Marjons. Both teams will be mostly made up of players who played for them in the EBL last season.

Warriors Coach Dwain Addman is treating the build-up to London Summer League as a training camp he stated: "We will have a mixed squad with the likes of John Jay Johnson and Yannick Bulumbwe leading the way."

Lituanica see Karolis "Hardwork" Stepanavicius return to play for them - in his last game for the Dagenham based club he put in an MVP performance in the 2011 EBL Division 4 Playoff Final.

Warriors play two divisions above Lituanica in the EBL but the Lithuanians have upset the odds before (such as their National Cup win over holders Essex Leopards last season) and with Stepanavicius in the line-up this game is tough to call.

The Winners/Losers Semi Final/Semi Final Plate opponents will come from Quarter-Final 3 between Medway Park Crusaders and LSBU Brixton Topcats.

The full Opening Night Schedule is as follows:

QF4: Tip-Off - 19.30 - London Lituanica v Westminster Warriors

QF3: Tip-Off - 20.50 - Medway Park Crusaders v LSBU Brixton Topcats
