Olympic FC have confirmed they have secured the services of midfielder Darren Gray for the 2015 PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues season.

The 27-year-old is the first confirmed signing for this year’s PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Grand Finalists as they seek to return to the top of the standings next year.

Gray was a first team regular for Olympic in 2014, making a total of 21 appearances in both the league and finals competition after switching from community club Rochedale Rovers this season.

Although not a prolific goal scorer, Gray chipped in with a goal against sixth-tier community club Centenary Stormers in the fourth round of this year’s inaugural Football Queensland Cup.

A club spokesman said further signings were expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Several triallists will also come under consideration for a place in next year’s squad this Wednesday night when Olympic FC host Hyundai A-League club Brisbane Roar at Goodwin Park in a friendly match.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7PM and entry is by gold coin donation, which will be donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
