A Greta Bodey brace has helped The Gap FC Women maintain their perfect start to the season - notching a 3-0 win over Gold Coast FC Women at Duncan McKenna Field.

Bodey twice found herself in the right place at the right time to convert excellent deliveries from Eden Jones before Megan Price capped off the scoring midway through the second half.

City restricted the visitors to a handful of chances in the second half but were unable to muster a comeback as they failed to trouble the scorers for a second straight week.

The three points reestablishes Gators' eight-point advantage over second-placed Souths United FC Women, while City remain on the outside of the top four looking in.

1' - CHANCE FOR CITY - Georgia Elliston crosses from the right to Neesa Doyle who strikes straight at the keeper

What They Said

"It's disappointing to lose, but as a team we feel happy and confident with our result. We feel like we played pretty well and shut them down throughout the match. I think they were getting a little bit worried in that second half. We know we can play against them, we just need to work on our fitness and confidence." - Kate Butler-Howell, Gold Coast City FC

"We're satisfied to come to the Gold Coast and get three points and keep a clean sheet again. Our performance wasn't as good as we would have liked but you get weeks like that and to win when we've not played well is something to be happy with." - Rob Askew, The Gap FC Women Coach
