Love your football?

Football West News

Cockburn City are hoping love will be a key to getting extra fans through the gate when they host their first PS4 NPL WA Night Series matches of the season on Valentine’s Day.

The Round Two action kicks off at Dorrien Gardens on Friday when Sorrento and ECU Joondalup clash (6.30pm) before host club Perth SC takes on Armadale (8.30pm).

This week, Perth SC reported that McInerney Ford Gold Medal winner Clark Keltie will again skipper the side with striker Ash Rosindale as his assistant.

At Dalmatinac Park on Saturday night, Floreat Athena will take on Subiaco at 6pm and host club Cockburn City faces United at 8pm.

And as an extra incentive to get your football fix on Valentine’s Day, entry is free for women.

There will be no love lost on the field as teams get into the swing of summer football in the lead-up to season two of the PS4 NPL WA season.

Inglewood United reports, midfielder Andrija Jukic is aiming for more than just three points against Cockburn after his side’s win over Armadale last week.
