MDBA Partners With Impact Basketball
We are delighted to announce the MDBA will be undertaking a strategic partnership with Impact Basketball USA, the premier training system in the world.
The partnership will provide for our players and coaches the following:-
- Impact Camps and clinics for players
- Coaching development and clinics
- US tours.
- Pathways to US Colleges
- Pathways to senior Representative levels in Australia
The program was successfully launched on Saturday October 4th at our home courts.
Launching the program was Mike Moreau, Director of Coaching, Impact USA. Of interest Mike has been assisting Kawhi Leonard, 2014 MVP NBA playoffs, for a number of years.
2015 Impact Camps at MDBA
Camp 1: Jan 14, 15 & 16 with Head Coach Avi Meyerson, former Division 1 USA Collegiate Coach and current head coach Impact Asia pacific.
Camp 2: Oct 2, 3 & 4 with Head coach Mike Moreau. Director of Coaching Impact USA.
For our Coaches: Free seminars will be provided during the above camps. In addition coaches will be provided opportunity to work on court during the camp.
2015 USA Tours
June –July: USA Skills Development tour. Targeted 12-15 year olds. This camp is available to all Breaker players. 14-16 day tour.
December: 21-23 tour for advanced players. Targeted 15-19 year olds. Has entry standard.
