Queanbeyan and Tuggeranong will face each other in the last round of the home and away season in what could likely be a preview of next week’s elimination final.

Although the sides may possibly find themselves meeting again in a week’s time, both will enter this game under much different circumstances.
The Tigers will be hoping to secure their spot within the top two, but know that Belconnen (who play last placed Gungahlin) are in pole position to leapfrog them.
Tuggeranong on the other hand, will head into the match feeling relaxed and mentally preparing themselves for the finals.
The Hawks will be ready for the intensity Queanbeyan will play with, having versed the Magpies last weekend in similar circumstances.
Queanbeyan have no choice but to play an all-out-attack style of footy if they hope to give their percentage a significant enough boost to clinch second place.
They know they have the firepower to do so, having beaten Tuggeranong by 90 and 105 points in their previous meetings this season.
However, after their resilient effort against Belconnen last week, the Hawks are shaping as a much more formidable opponent this time around.
If they can keep the Tigers to a low score, it’ll do their confidence the world of good going into next week’s game.
One area Queanbeyan must improve on is their accuracy in front of goal.
Last week’s effort of 10.24 (84) was their worst of the season and almost cost them a crucial four points against Eastlake.
Head coach, Kade Klemke, told The Canberra Times that if his side brings that form into the finals they won’t go far.
With just one week left before the next phase of the season, the players will know better than anyone else the importance of taking their chances in front of goal.
First bounce for this match is at 2:15pm this Saturday at Allinsure Park.
