After two weekends without local footy, fans will be treated to one of the games of the year when first placed Ainslie host second placed Queanbeyan this Saturday.

The Tigers remain the only team this season who have been able to topple the ladder leaders, having beaten them 12.11 (83) to 10.13 (73) in their last encounter in round 12.
Although Ainslie will be keen to make amends for that surprise defeat, in the context of their season this game is unlikely to have any effect on them losing their place at the top of the ladder.
However, Queanbeyan will have much more to play for, as a loss to the Tricolours will almost certainly mean losing their place in the top two.
The differences in preparations for these two sides heading into the match could prove to be a factor come game day.
This will be Ainslie’s first match in a fortnight due to the round 17 washout and a bye last weekend.
Queanbeyan on the other hand, played a game last Friday against Gungahlin to make up for a cancelled match earlier in the season.
It’ll be an interesting observation to see whether the time between games has any notable influence on the match.
Fortunately for any fans attending, the weather is expected to be dry and perfect for footy, a pleasant change to the regular wet weather Canberra has experienced in the past few weeks.
This means a fast paced and highly skilled game of Aussie Rules is to be expected.
The first bounce for this encounter between two genuine premiership contenders will be at 2:15, Saturday at Alan Ray Oval.
