SPLIT VENUE DETAILS
Details are attached detailing which grades will be playing where for the season.
Before you comment - please take a moment to contemplate how many things have been taken into consideration to come to these decisions. We understand junior teams may clash with family members playing at the same time - we apologies for this in advance. Coaches playing or coaching more than one team have been taken into consideration and where we weren't able to achieve same venue games we will endeavour to give you at least one game break to move between venues.
U10 GIRLS ARE NOW ON FRIDAY NIGHTS - at HILAC as we need adjustable rings and to accommodate times amongst other things!
In placing senior grades at venues, referee's playing were also taken into consideration when required to ref particular grades at specific venues.
We are doing the best we can, we are human & if a mistake has been made or something missed, please contact us and we will endeavour to rectify this.
If we have no rain, and you walk past dry courts, be as frustrated as the committee are and perhaps vent your frustrations to our local councillors, not our volunteers or Hilac staff.
HILAC Basketball office will still be the administration point. Registration queries, clearances, permission gradings etc should all be directed to the HILAC Office. At this stage we will just have a supervisor at Monivae - no administration.
If you are attending Monivae for games - please be respectful and thankful we have this option. Children MUST be supervised at ALL TIMES. The east court especially - NO ACCESS to upstairs. Retractable seating area is out of bounds also. Toilets are located in the West Court area, plenty of upstairs viewing in this court. Please abide by the cordend off areas as well.
Registrations are due to open Wednesday night. All players must pay registration BEFORE taking the court - the same as last season. If you are playing at Monivae - please ensure you have paid at least 1 day prior to your game so scoresheets reflect this and you can get on the court at the start of the game.
