Basketball Fiji Meets with Colonial

On Tuesday Mark Seccombe (Australian Youth Ambassador for Development) and Laisiasa Puamau (Temporary Development Officer) from Basketball Fiji had a meeting with the executives of Colonial. The meeting was to seek sponsorship for the launching of the Kaji Primary Schools Basketball Competition that is to be held at International High School on the 6th of March 2009. The launching of the Kaji Primary Schools competition is a 6 week event and will be made up of three mixed grades- Under 10’s, 12’s and 14’s. Eight primary schools have been identified for the tournament and waiting on confirmation. Colonial have shown interest in our movement towards our development plans and hopefully with the help of Colonial we can help grow this competition in the years to come.

Thank you very much Colonial for meeting with Basketball Fiji.
