Twisties Games launches in style

The Twisties National Secondary Schools Basketball Championships was officially opened today (Saturday 22nd August, 2009) at 10am at the Vodafone Arena. Chief guest Mr. Earl Hughes who is the Marketing Manager for Twisties welcomed all partcipatance to the games. He also mentioned that Twisties were looking forward to a strong partnership with Basketball Fiji into developing the sport in the country. After the opening ceremony teams were divided into 4 groups to partake in development basketball and referee's clinics. Also present was Jone Waisale a HIV/AIDS champion and also National Rugby League Represenative who conducted the Dunking Aids Out Program. Basketball Fiji would like to thank its partners Twisties, Stayin Alive & UNAIDS for their contribution in the Secondary Schools Program and  we look forward to a strong partnership in the years to come.
