A gourmet lunch supplied 11.30am to all registered coaches/parents.
Noosa Basketball has secured the services of Leonard King – State Director of Coaching and High Performance manager to run a clinic for all current and future Club and Rep coaches.
We require all parents/players interested in club or Rep coaching to be present.
This clinic will count as a workshop for all current Level One Coaches who must attend at least one workshop per year to remain qualified to coach at Rep level.
The session will cover what is developing at Queensland Basketball with regard to ‘plays’ and other insights into growing your team. We will utilize the U/17 Academy group coached by Warwick Wilson to demonstrate on court all the latest drills and progressions.
With the arrival of the new Sunshine Coast Basketball Association, it would be great to see Noosa become the powerhouse in coaching allowing our players to develop to a level where they can represent the Sunshine Coast. This all starts at club level.
With strong numbers we will also be able to get Leonard King back to run a Level One Coaching Course for those interested in taking their coaching to the next level.
