Saturday morning 13 mountain bikes took off from AE Oval in Ranandi on an adventure race under the auspices of the TriSI triathlon club. The course included over 20km of mountain bike riding in two stages, a 6km kayak paddle down the Lunga River and out to sea, and a sweltering 5.5km run.more

THRILLER FINISH TO A DAY OF MANY WINNERS

A big crowd and over 60 competitors were treated to a thrilling finish in both the men's long and short triathlons at Kakabona on Saturday. Three seconds over 35kms of swimming, cycling and running were all that separated Maxon `crocodile man' Ala and Stanley Ofasisili, while just two seconds separated John Tupe from Junior Textly in the shorter 20km event.
