Last Weekend saw the completion of the Under 8's AFLNRJ Competition for 2015.
The eight round season boasted some fantastic football played by all kids with the modified rules allowing for progressive growth and development of the Leagues youngsters.
''The 2015 Under 8's format was a huge success and AFLNRJ cannot wait for continued growth in this age group in 2016” said AFLNRJ Administrator Molly Kenwood.
A big congratulations must go to the Wollongbar/Alstonville Saints who re-entered the AFLRNJ competition for the first time since 2011.
The Saints finished the season with a bang at their home ground Hill Park in Alstonville. The Club are looking to expand next year to field teams across two age groups.
Meanwhile, AFLNRJ are midway through the season in the U10-U16 age groups with some competitions providing for a healthy race to September.
