Seniors
Pambula v Merimbula
Pambula’s two year unbeaten streak came to an end last round going down to Tathra/Bega in a thrilling contest at Lawrence Park. The Panthers will be looking to get back on track against a team they have had the better of over the past two seasons in Merimbula. The Diggers have started the season well in 2016 and this match is shaping to be the match of the round with the winner to cement themselves as premiership favourites. Player to Watch: Sean Smith, Has been huge in the absence of full forward Tom Hammond.
Prediction: Pambula by 15 points
Bermagui v Narooma
Both northern sides will be looking for their first win of the season in what is becoming an annual ANZAC day fixture between the two clubs. Narooma have an extremely youthful side and will take time to develop. Although the results might not be going their way at present we can look for the Lions to be vast improvers later in the year. Bermagui will look to get one over their rivals early on in the season. Player to Watch: Kobi Cook, Bermi’s new man from Bairnsdale is quick and should cause trouble all over the ground.

Tathra/Bega have started the year with two successive wins, whilst taking down the Panthers and breaking their two year winning streak. The Tathra/Bega side come in red hot against an Eden side who struggled in their first outing against the Panthers in round one. Can look for Tathra/Bega to make it three wins on the trot. Player to Watch: Adam Blacka, The Tathra/Bega forward has kicked 18 goals through two games and will be looking to add to that total this weekend.
Prediction: Tathra/Bega by 65 points

Bermagui have been hard at work on the track and with a youthful squad coach Prue Davies will be aiming to get the best out of her young players. In what could be the match of the round in any grade Tathra/Bega host Eden in what will be a highly entertaining contest with the winner to be labelled premiership favourites. Two youthful sides will go head to head but will the added experience of the whalers carry them to a win against the Sea Eagles. Player to Watch: Grace Gowing, Breakers. Now a star of the u13’s Gowing will look to dominate.
Prediction: Eden by 10points and Bermagui by 52 points

Two top teams go head to head this weekend in the Panthers and Diggers. Merimbula snapped Narooma’s winning streak last weekend in a nail biter and this weekend wont be any different in what should be tight and trying contest. The Giants take on the Breakers for the second time in two rounds with the Breakers looking to claim two from two and third win on the season.
