Round Preview
Bermagui v Merimbula
It was a tale of two sides for these two clubs last weekend with Bermagui suffering a huge loss against top of the table Pambula whilst Merimbula showed their premiership credentials against bottom side Narooma. The Diggers have had the upper hand against the Breakers in the past two seasons and tomorrow should be no different unless Bermagui can get some players back into the line-up and start clicking. Bermagui’s main fundraiser is on tomorrow with their golf ball drop set to make someone $10,000 richer.
Player to Watch– Luke Moresi. The three time B&F winner is back in the team after a couple of weeks overseas and will give the side some much needed experience back into the side.
Pambula v Tathra
The Panthers will be aiming to maintain their winning streak again this weekend as they take on a well rested Sea Eagles outfit. After a ground mix up last weekend the Sea Eagles will be raring to go and will be aiming to snap the Panthers streak. This match up sees two of the sharp shooters going up against one another with Tom Hammond and Ryan O’Loghlin looking to kick a bag and carry their team to the win on the weekend. Tathra’s midfield will be hard pressed to stop the Panthers midfield and they will be hoping that Jason Ainsworth was still with the side.
Player to Watch– Tom Hammond. The leading goal kicker for the competition will be aiming to extend his lead this weekend.
Bega v Narooma
The Lions have struggled away from home in the 2015 season and none so more when they travel to the Bega Showgrounds. With a win this weekend against the Lions the Bombers will make it incredibly hard for the Breakers to catch them as we lead into the finals. Narooma are coming off a tough loss last weekend against the Diggers and will be looking to bounce back and have a strong showing against the Bombers who generally lift their game against the Lions. With a win the Lions will look to jump off the base of the table.
Player to Watch– Chris Dwyer. These matches are where the coach needs to stand up and be counted to get the win.

The Lions had their biggest test last weekend when they narrowly defeated the Diggers in Merimbula. Although the reigning premiers were without a number of influential players including Zak Wilson, Jai Reed and Liam Clothier some of their younger players including Jackson Taylor and Zac Martin stood up to maintain their undefeated season. In the second matchup of the weekend the Panthers will host the Diggers in the match up of second versus third. These matches have been great spectacles in 2015 with Merimbula claiming the first match up whilst the Panthers have claimed the past two. After pushing the Lions for four quarters last weekend the Diggers will have their tales up and will believe that they will be able to take down the Panthers.

After claiming their first win of the season last weekend against the Bombers the Giants couldn't have a tougher match this weekend when they take on top of the table Pambula away from home. With Flynn Cook held well against Bermagui last weekend the Giants academy player will be looking to have a big outing this weekend. Narooma travel to Bega this weekend as they look to get back on the winners list after a couple of narrow losses against Pambula and Merimbula. With a win and a Bermagui loss the Lions will jump into second position barring percentage. In the remaining game Bermagui will host the Diggers in the match of the round. Jedd Martyn will be aiming to maintain his splendid season whilst the Bermagui girls will be looking to lift their team to a important win.
