Round 13 Preview
Bermagui v Narooma
The Breakers broke through for their first win of the season last weekend and will be looking to make it two in a row as they take on northern rivals the Narooma Lions. The Lions will be looking to continue their hot form after knocking of the Diggers a fortnight ago whilst looking to make it three from three against their rivals. With another big game next week in their catch up game with the Panthers the Lions will be looking for a good outing. Player to Watch: Liam Clothier, had a big day out against the Breakers the last time these two met finding space to utilise the ball to the Lions forwards. Prediction: Narooma by 29 Points.
Eden v Tathra/Bega
The Whalers will look to end the season on a high at home this weekend against the high flying Sea Eagles. The Whalers have been highly competitive against the Panthers and Breakers in the past two weeks and will be hoping they are competitive again this weekend. The Sea Eagles will be highly fancied in this matchup and will be looking for a big win in this contest. The Sea Eagles will be looking to go through Adam Blacka as much as possible as he searches for the 100 goal mark. Player to Watch: Thomas Lipsham, The tough inside midfielder goes about his business week in week out without great fanfare. Prediction: Tathra/Bega by 70.
Merimbula v Pambula
This matchup between the two local rivals will most likely determine who finishes second with the Diggers holding a greater percentage then their cross town rivals. Both sides will be looking to make a fast start and secure the four points leading into the finals. After having the week off last week the Panthers will be fresh and therefore confident that they will be the ones to make the fast start. Player to Watch: Jack Burch, The Diggers ruckman will be influential in this matchup as he looks to give the likes of Daniel Worden first use of the ball and the opportunity to go inside 50 to hit the scoreboard. Prediction: Merimbula by 10.
Women’s
Just the one game in the women’s competition this weekend as the Breakers host the Lions in what is the Lions last opportunity to push towards a finals place. A loss this weekend will see the Lions eliminated from finals contention with Narooma currently 4 points behind the Breakers. The Breakers were highly competitive last weekend against Eden pushing the Whalers for three quarters before the Whalers kicked away with the win in the fourth. A win for the breakers will secure their finals spot and give them confidence leading into the finals. Player to Watch: Zoe Holdsworth, One of the Breakers key players has been impressive in 2016 with Holdsworth kicking a monstrous goal last weekend with the wind and playing a key role. Prediction: Bermagui.

In Bermagui the Lions will look to continue their push towards the finals as they take on the Breakers. The team will have loads of confidence coming into this one.
