ALA is pleased to announce the appointment of Sachiyo Yamada and Peter Mathwin as Co-Coaches of the U23 Australian Womens Team.
The U23 Australian team will compete in a number of tournaments culminating at the 2015 ASPAC Championships, to be held in Bangkok Thailand, Saturday 4th - Saturday 11th July.
Sachi served as an assistant coach of the 2013 U23 Australian Women's team for the Friendship Games in Tokyo and the ASPAC Championship in Beijing.
Sachi is an accomplished player of seven SA state teams and seven seasons with wilderness, including the 2014 Wilderness premiership team as MVP. She has coached Japanese lacrosse camps and Wildenress juniors and aspires to be a high level coach.
Peter brings with him many years of coaching experience of both men's and women's teams at Chadstone, Brighton and Woodville Clubs. While completing several years of women's senior club teams, he also caoches the U15 SA girls team in 2009 and the Senior SA Women's team in 2010 and 2011.
