Assistant coach Venina Galuinadi said the boys lacked confidence earlier on and when they did, they were really fired and have the capacity to push the Kiwis and Aussies to the limit.

Fiji eventually lost out by only 11 points, the best by any team in the tournament so far.

The National Indoor Stadium was filled with cheers with the Australians having some local supporters behind them.

Australian Men's Netball CEO Peter Turk said it was good to see the hotel workers from the Tradewinds on the stands with their flags cheering them on.

Team Australia is staying at the hotel and it seems have made friends with the workers.

Admission is only $2 per adult and $1 per child.
