Lady Rangers finished 4th in 2014
The Lady Rangers had a close overtime win vs Canterbury Wildcats by 1 point in the first game of the tournament. The Rangers had targeted this game to focused on if we were to secure a spot in the top 4 going into this event.
The Lady Rangers then had to play against the Lady Hawks. The game started off close until the 3rd quarter when the Lady Hawks just had a good run offensively which spread the lead and was too much for the Lady Rangers after a close win earlier in the day against the Wildcats.
In the Semis, the Lady Rangers faced the Harbour Breeze. However the Rangers just couldn't keep up with the pace of the Breeze and was eventually blown out of the game by 21 points.
In the 3rd and 4th playoff game, the Lady Rangers were up against Lady Hawsk after a big upset loss to the Waikato Wizards in the semi. The Lady Hawks came out firing but the Rangers held them off in the first half and kept Hawks starting 5 in the game until the 4th quarter when the lead got larger to the end of the game.
Overall the week was a huge success. Captain Stevee Theyers average 16 points per game, Wuanyei Ah Hing avarages 12 points per game.
