The U15’s Grand Final between the favoured Coffs Swans and the North Coffs Kangaroos saw the Kangaroos nullify their opponents through pressure football and numbers at the ball around the ground. The Roos second quarter of 6 goals to 2 set up what would be the eventual win. Kane Latham was deemed best on ground for the Roos with his run and carry on the big ground a key factor. Luke Corlis was the best for the Swans winning the football for the Swans in a range of positions. In a great team effort best players for Norths were Brett Vella who kicked 7 straight goals, Jordan Hoskins with 3 goals, Clancy Dickson (2 Goals), Machut Machut and Tylar Joseph.
The Under 13’s Coffs Swans team lead from start to finish to easily beat the Sawtell Toormina Saints on Sunday morning at BCU International Stadium.
The bigger bodies of the swans and the brilliant skills of a number of their players made them too good for the opposition. The swans played well as a team and shared the ball around well with the better players being Jack Mapleson, Tyrone Jones and Gabe Ellicot. Jake brown was voted the best player on the ground.
The saints tried hard all day but certainly missed the services of Joe Stead who was unavailable to play. Connor Perks was voted the best player on the ground for Sawtell Toormina Saints.
