The TAFL boys have been training for a few weeks now and by all reports have a few surprises for the Peter Chadwick coached first grade North Coast Team. Peter has yet to finalise his squad and if he can get the chosen players on the park it will be a very strong outfit.
The Under 18's are coached by Rod Mapleson and once again if Rod can get his chosen players on the field he will have a very good side on paper. But you don't win games on paper and they will have to be on their A game to pull off victory over the Jesse Schmitt coached Mid North Coast team. This game will see some of the best talent we have seen for years- Brad Smith, Tyson Wiegold, Tom Dickson, Sam Johnson up against Jake Saunders, Conne McCoy, Mckinley Pearce and Lachlan Jacobs.
The Under 15's coached by Matt Anderson has AFL fans frothing at the mouth with the game sure to be at a cracking pace. Both teams have some super talent with Mid North Coasters Max Lower, Eli Prescott, Mitch Dickson and goal sneak Fraser Carroll. While the North Coast has Jake Brown, Jack Mapleson, Jacob Sincock, Conner Perks and boom new recruits in Jack Conlon and Jesse Alty. This looms as the game of the day.
The Under 13's coached by Ken Phillips will be a fast and furious game with the boys only knowing one speed. Flat out. Chaz Wiegold, Riley Sines, Chris Holten will kepp Beau Alty, Billy Mapleson and Ryler Maher on their toes.
The day looks to be a huge success with the two Junior game presenatations at the ground after their games and the Under 18's and Senior presentations at the Settlers Inn.
