At the same time Coffs Harbour will also be hosting the 2014 National Kickstart Championships for under-15 indigenous players. The April tournament will mark the first time these championships have been held outside of Queensland.
AFL Fiji official Lupe Wolfgramm said it was unfortunate that the players would have to find their own way to the Coffs Coast.
"The boys will have to pay their own airfare to Australia but their meals, accommodation and expenses in Australia will be taken care of by AFL Australia," she said.
"These boys are just 14 to 15 years old and not all will be able to arrange for their airfares.
"They are not working and some of their families are not earning big money to pay for the airfares."
The Oceania team is made up of players from Nauru, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands and when the boys arrive in Coffs Harbour they will play matches against New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Wolfgramm said the Fijian contingent were on the lookout for a sponsor to come forward and help the boys take their place in the Oceania team.
"We are going to write to some potential sponsors to try and convince them to pay for the boys' airfares," she said.
