Port Macquarie Junior AFL player Kobe McClure was last week selected to represent NSW at the upcoming All Schools AFL National Carnival to be held in Sydney in July.
Kobe competed recently in the NSW AFL All School Carnival in Wagga as part of the Northern CCC team. The team as a whole had a successful carnival being crowned runners up with Kobe being named player of the carnival for the Northern CCC team.
Kobe’s performance at the carnival caught the eye of the selectors which lead to selection in the NSW AFL State team. Kobe who has played AFL since 5 years of age and been a member of the Sydney Swans Academy since 2010 is looking forward to playing against the best U15 players in Australia.
Kobe’s first match at the All Schools AFL National Carnival will be against Queensland at the SCG on July 20th.
All at AFL North Coast congratulate Kobe on this reward for his effort and wish him the best of luck at the carnival!
