GRAFTON is struggling for player availability and that could jeopardise their charge at a third flag in four years.
Following the forfeit to Port Macquarie, the league fined the club and imposed a condition that any further forfeit this season would result in them losing all premiership points and missing the finals altogether.
At full strength they are a real threat but that means little right now.

Potential dilemma
With Grafton's tenuous grip on to a top four spot complicated, it’s now looking more than a slim possibility that Camden Haven and Port Macquarie could meet in the 1st Semi Final.
That would result in both having a substantial four-hour travel commitment to Coffs Harbour to play.
Could that situation prompt a late switch of venue?
Hmmm.
Umpires going strong
UMPIRING groups across Australia have an ongoing battle to recruit and maintain numbers.
Historically, that has been a North Coast issue but certainly not the case in 2014.
The number available this season is at an all-time high.
Five new umpires have joined and their group has more active members than some clubs.
Coffs Hotel Good Sport
IT COSTS money to run a footy club and most rely heavily on the match day canteen.
It all takes work and it’s loyal volunteers like Adele Howatt that make it possible for the Sawtell-Toormina Saints.
Your club put your name forward, Adele, so please accept a $25 hotel voucher courtesy of Marty and Donna Phillips.
