PORT Macquarie's under-18 team has not lost a game in 2014 and are firm favourites to go back-to-back.
At 11am on Saturday at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, the young Magpies face off against a determined Sawtell-Toormina in what should be a fantastic game.
There has not been much between the two sides all year and the Saints should be at full strength.
Both sides boast outstanding junior talent.
Get out early to see this one.
Easy road to decider
BOTH the Saints and Swans know the preferred route to the grand final is a winning performance today.
That is even more obvious as the loser will face off against a rampaging Port Macquarie in seven days.
The Magpies blasted a desperate Grafton out of the finals last weekend and will pose a tough assignment for the major semi-final loser.
Of much concern to the Swans are a couple of injuries but the reality is a spot in the grand final awaits the winner and there is just 100 minutes of footy time remaining to show you deserve that honour.
’Roos sign off
NORTH Coffs Kangaroos hold the annual presentation gathering at the Plantation Hotel tonight from 5pm.
The club is very keen to end the season on a high note with a big roll-up to set the platform for 2015.
The cost is only $5.
Players and supporters are urged to get along and enjoy a great night.
Coffs Hotel good sport
I TAKE my hat off to Jason Sincock.
While he is a part-time employee of the AFL, Scratchy works tirelessly to get the finals organised, and still had time to run around with Swans’ reserves grade last weekend.
That was in between his countless duties on the day including collecting a bag of possessions.
Well done, Jason.
We all appreciate it and Marty and Donna at the Coffs Hotel want to shout you a $25 voucher.
No ID required as they know you far too well.
