The following motion was passed unamiously at a Special General Meeting of the AFLNC Seniors last night. This now means that both Leagues have passed exactly the same motion unamiously. This is an exciting decision especially in this very special year.
That AFL North Coast Juniors and AFL North Coast Seniors amalgamate to form AFL North Coast Incorporated effective from 1 November 2008. AFL North Coast Incorporated will adopt “Rules for Incorporated Association” and a “Charter of Operation” to ensure that whilst AFL on the North Coast is administered by one body, individual Junior and Senior AFL Sub-Committees will exist to manage the day to day operations of their respective Leagues through the formulation of “Competition Rules and Bylaws”.
The make-up of the board will include 2 members of each Association and 3 independent persons (prominent business persons).
