The Coffs Swans, on the back of a 10 goal masterclass from Evan Duryea, took the points and exacted revenge over North Coffs.
The Swans were initially slow out of the blocks, but Duryea lifted Swans spirits, leading the way as the Swans enjoyed a six goal second-quarter to have all the momentum running into half-time.
Ill-discipline seeped through the Kangaroos ranks during this time but it was mainly the quick transition and efficient disposal that helped the Swans dominate in a intense clash played in a finals-like atmosphere.
North Coffs came out after half-time and started to move the ball better with Brad Giri winning the clearances and moving up forward to kick some vital goals. Sam Dawes was also influential as he notched up the possessions in the midfield. A lack of targets put the 'Roos under pressure telling a tale with their inaccuracy on the scoresheet.
Up the other end, Duryea after a five-goal second quarter, continued to boot goals from every angle, with some wonderful snap shots and strong leading a feature of his play deep in the forward line. Peter Chadwick was arguably the best player in the second half as the Swans eventually shot to an unassailable lead. He became more dangerous moving up forward with his marking ability too much for his direct opponent.
The youngsters of the Swans stood up after quarter-time. Jarryd Burow was impressive, as was Hamish Pearce in the centre. Both sides missed key players, with the Swans without Dave Box and Zac Bullivant and the 'Roos missing Darren Funston and Josh Drum.
The game was a great entree for the finals with the Swans prevailing to further their finals aspirations.

Sawtell finished the regular season as minor premiers with only two losses to their name after another strong display against Port Macquarie.
A 15 goal first half set the platform for the Saints with their forward line running rampant against the slow-starting 'Pies. Lachlan Draper-Bell was best for the Saints, kicking six goals, with smaller forwards in Damon Bienefelt and Matt Elliott also getting on the scoresheet.
It was a scary performance by the understrength Saints; further denting the Magpies premiership hopes. Steven King was strong for the black and whites and got some support from the usual suspects in Clayton Miechel and Matthew Newton.
Todd Matthews and Mark Couzens had another day out in the midfield as the Saints narrowly won the second half. The damage was already done, however, with the Saints running into the finals at the peak of their powers.

Grafton ensured Nambucca Valley finished winless for the season with a ruthless win at Ellem Oval.
Daniel Zacek and Sean Purton were prominent in attack and got great supply from hard working midfielders in Scott Onus and Justin Darby who got rewarded for their tireless efforts this season. The duo were more effective with the benefit of Zac Edwards' superiority in the ruck.
Zac Maitland booted the lone goals for the Lions, with Daniel Linares and the returning, Trent Baade trying hard for the Nambucca side. The game was effectively over by half time with the Tigers extending on their lead with the help of even contributions from their squad to enjoy a happy ending to their season.
