Tribunal - Lisa Rosier
A tribunal hearing was held on Tuesday 18th June at the Rockingham Flames clubrooms for Lisa Rosier. The following were the charges alleged:
- Disputed decisions of Officials / Breached Code of Conduct
- Used Abusive, Threatening, Obscene Language or Gestures
- Acted in an Unsportsmanlike manner in or around the Stadium
Mrs Rosier pleaded not guilty to all three charges. Upon review of witnesses support statements for and against the charges as well as evidence given by the two officials from the game, the following outcomes were reached:
NOT GUILTY to Charge 1 - Disputed Decisions of Officials / Breached Code of Conduct
GUILTY to Charge 2 - Used Abusive, Threatening, Obscene Language or Gestures
NOT GUILTY to Charge 3 - Acted in an Unsportsmanlike manner in or around the Stadium
Due to the uniqueness of the situation (It was established that Mrs Rosier was only filling in as Coach for that respective game as the teams regular coach was unavailable) the following penalty was handed down: SUSPENDED for FOUR (4) Games from 4/7/14 - 8/8/14 as a COACH. SUSPENDED SENTENCE of SIX (6) Weeks for a period of TWELVE (12) Months from 4/7/14 - 3/7/15.
