AFL Tasmania's State League General Manager, Shaun Young, today announced the two individual's to lead the Senior State Team into combat against the NEAFL Eastern Conference on Saturday, 8 June at Skoda Stadium, Western Sydney.
The honour of captaining the side has been entrusted to Clarence District Football Club Inside Midfielder, Brady Jones.
Brady's deputy in the Vice-captaincy role is South Launceston Football Club's Head Coach, Mitch Thorp.
Tasmanian State Team Head Coach, Mathew Armstrong said, "Brady leads by his actions, he is of great character on and off the field and more importantly players respect the way he goes about his football, both his preparation and his on field actions.
"Mitch will be a great deputy to Brady, with his wealth of experience at AFL level and the leadership that he shows with the South Launceston Football Club and the clubs development this perfect leadership combination make a good pair."
