New coach Rodney Eade has stressed the need to be versatile and it has helped Sexton who has thrived in his first full preseason.
"I have been unlucky, first my hip then my shoulder, but I'm good to go now", he said. "Rocket (Eade) has talked about being versatile and I have been playing here and there. Your guess is as good as mine (where he will fit into the side)."
The suns are short odds to be there September, something they are yet to acheive despite looking likely midway through last season. "That's (top eight) is the goal." Sexton said. "Were confident weve got one of the best midfield groups in the AFL and weve also picked up some influential players too".
