BIG V WEEKEND WRAP

Winners are grinners ! Everything is better with a 'W' - the post match food tastes nicer, niggles and injuries don't hurt as much and the feeling of satisfaction from a well-prepared game week that leads to a result is one of those special things in sport. 

All of our DV teams took home a victory on the weekend, here's how the story went :

Victorian Youth Championship Men :

Diamond Valley def. Hawthorn 68-60

J. Petrie (The Dish) 15 points,  7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block

D. Dunstan 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists

 

Victorian Youth Championship Women :

Diamond Valley def. Geelong 78-50

H. Valenti 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block

S. Gillam 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 blocks

J. Henry 10 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 6 steals

 

It’s a full house at the Valley this weekend – come and see the DV family in action ! Saturday night it’s the VYC Men and Women taking on Eltham and Hume respectively. Then on Sunday, the clash you’ve all been waiting for – the DV and Eltham derby ! State Champ Men and Women will be blowing the roof off the building in the afternoon. Come and watch Snelly’s home debut ! All coming at you this weekend  - the Valley will be the house of hoops ! See you there
