The Eastern Swans put on a show for club legend Bob Inkson in their game against Moranbah Bulldogs.
"He's a legend of the football club," Swans captain Matt West said.
"He's worked hard to get the club where it's at now and it's in a really good position.
"We will do everything in our power to get the job done for Bob come finals time."
Swans will now play Mackay City Hawks next weekend for a spot in the grand final after defeating Moranbah Bulldogs 94-38.
"It's going to be a big challenge, they're (Hawks) a good side but if we bring our A game I'm sure it will be a tight contest," West said.
While both teams were under manned, West said neither of them played their best football.
"It was a bit of a dog fight," he said.
"It was just a grind more than anything.
"They (Bulldogs) put up a good challenge and I'm quite sure they'll get the job done I reckon against Bakers Creek.
Swans ruckman Cameron Windsor was a stand out player along with the rest of the midfield.
"He was sensational in the ruck and the boys in the midfield did a good job," West said.
"We played pretty average, I think we're more focused on the job ahead next week so to get the points was a bonus," he said.
Bulldogs' captain Danial Pullan agreed.
"We weren't really worried about winning today," he said.
"I thought we went pretty well in the first half and matched it with them but just didn't put the score on."
Scoring 14 points, it doesn't show on the scoreboard but the Bulldogs did not stop coming at the Swans the whole game.
"We had a few players back from injury so we were just getting a bit of run in the legs and putting people in different positions," Pullan said.
"We got a little bit out of it and it's given us a few things to work on this week at training."
He put the inaccuracy down to perceived pressure and lack of numbers at training.
"It probably comes down to getting more people on the training track more than anything," he said.
Centre half back Colin Sheldon was a stand out player along with the rest of the Bulldogs' defence.
"Our back line did the best, it was down there most of the time," Pullan laughed.
