Woodville Warriors (67) lost to North Adelaide Rockets (83)
An intensely physical match saw the North Adelaide Rockets women defeat the Woodville Warriors at home on Saturday night.
The bodies were dropping all night as both sides grappled with tough match ups across the court.
Rocket Kelsey McKay took a nasty tumble and wrenched her knee in the second quarter causing her to sit out the rest of the game but her team rallied and systematically closed out the game.
The Rockets structures and opportunism carried them to victory over a skilled but slightly less organised Woodville.
