The Forestville Eagle Women disposed of the Central Districts Lions in a straight forward offensive attack.
The Eagles dominance extended to the entire court on Saturday night with the stats telling the story: Forestville made 45% of their field goals compared to just 28% for the Lions, 50 rebounds to 37, 28 assists to 9, and 28 points off turnover compared to just 7.
The Lions Brianna Wedding put up a good fight in defense with 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks and also helped her team stay on the board with 8 points.
However the Eagles had too much strength; Petrie scored a double double (21 points &10 rebounds) and work horse Jess Fergus made the most of every opportunity with 4 steals, 5 assists, 8 rebounds, and 19 points.
